Felted Bowler Hat

This was my first (and only since!) felted project. I made this hat for my oldest daughter for Christmas. This was such fun to make. When I showed people this HUGE hat that I was knitting and I told them what it was, they never believed me. :-) It was a blast to put it in the washer, watch it shrink down and say, "I told you so." :-)

Here's my middle daughter modeling her hat and also a scarf I knitted. I didn't make the sweater. I bought it and another at a yard sale for .25 each when my 14 year old was a little girl. :-)

Here's the top of the Kate's Cap. The cap is knit on circular needles.

This is a baby hat I made from a pattern called Kate's Cap. I used a stretchy 99% cotton 1% lycra from Classic Elite called Star. It was very fun to work with and is washable.
